Abstract

357,830. Distribution boards. TUCKER & CO., Ltd., J. H. and GAFFNEY, J. E., Kings Road, Tyseley, Birming- ham. Nov. 4, 1930, No. 33105. [Class 38 (v).] A distribution board of the type described in Specification 190,259, [Class 38 (v), Electric switches &c.], in which a series of independent terminals is provided in addition to the terminals provided in direct association with the fuse bases terminals in the independent series being connected to fuse-base terminals by cables or their equivalents, is modified, according to the present invention in that certain of the fuse units are wired directly, the remainder being reached by way of the independent terminals. Switches may be inserted in the cables connecting the independent terminals to their associated fuse units. As shown in the Figure the upper fuse holders f are wired by leads directly to their upper terminals f<2> while the lower fuse holders g have their terminals g<2> connected by leads g<3> to switches h from which pass leads h<1> to groups of independent terminals c carried by insulating bases b, distributer leads j being brought to the separate clamping screws of the terminals c. The main leads d<1>, e<1> are screwed to bus-bars d, e extending across and connected to the inner groups of fuse terminals f<1>, g<1>.
