356,724. Hydrocyanic acid. GES. FUR KOHLENTECHNIK, 26, Deutschestrasse, Eving, Dortmund, Germany. May 22, 1930, No. 15807. Convention date, June 7, 1929. Addition to 356,190. [Class 1 (ii).] In the production of hydrocyanic acid from ammonium sulphocyanide and nitric acid described in the parent Specification, the nitrogen oxides evolved are reconverted into nitric acid for use again, and the acid ammonium sulphate solution is neutralized with ammonia which may be obtained from a synthetic ammonia and nitric acid plant, the nitric acid plant being utilized in the conversion of the nitrogen oxides to nitric acid as above described.
