Abstract

355,568. Toilet roll holders. HUNT, W. V., 3695, 34th Avenue, West, Vancouver, Canada. Oct. 13, 1930, No. 30537. [Class 18.] A roll 15 of toilet paper is supported on a block 14 extending from a casing 2, and a vane 10 hinged in the casing can be moved by pressing on a projecting portion 11 so as to force air through a jet 9 and lift the outermost strip of paper 21. After being lifted, the strip of paper is blown over the top and hangs freely. The vane passes through a slot in the bottom of the casing, and it is returned to its normal position by a spring 12. The block 14 is oval and is supported from the casing by a plate 13; and extending between the block and the casing is a hooked tongue 16, Fig. 3, which enters an L-shaped slot 19 in the roll as the latter is pushed on the block so as to prevent it being withdrawn as a whole. The slot 19 is in alignment with the perforations 18 in the roll. Apertured flanges on the casing permit of the latter being screwed to a wall.
