355,472. Vehicle &c. lamps. SHILLINGFORD, T. S., 195, Ravenscroft Road, Beckenham, Kent, and CLARKE, C. W., 3, Bishops Road, Paddington, London. July 28, 1930, No. 22650. [Classes 39 (ii), 75 (ii), and 75 (iv).] Reflectors ; multiple-filament lamps. -A vehicle or like lamp comprises a gas-filled or other electric bulb having two filaments B, C of equal candle-power arranged along the axis O X of the lamp, the filaments B, C being disposed with their centres coinciding respectively with the focus and apex of a main reflector D adapted to produce a parallel beam of light, and the rear of the reflector D being formed with a recess, or fitted with a separate reflector E, of hemispherical shape having its centre of curvature on the axis O X and within the main reflector D. A switch is provided for selectively switching on the filament B for a concentrated beam or the filament C for a diffused beam.
