354,981. Asphalt mixing boilers. REISER, A. and STAHL, G., (trading as REISER, A. [Firm of]), 20, Werneuchenerstrasse, Hohensch÷nhausen, Berlin. July 21, 1930, No. 21963. Convention date, Sept. 21, 1929. [Class 107.] A portable boiler for asphalt is provided with a distributer 9 for the supply of material, such as sand &c., for mixing with the asphalt, and such distributer is arranged to supply material along the entire length of the boiler through a slot 12 which is arranged in the roof of the boiler and extends at an angle to the direction in which the distributer moves the material. The distributer may be in the form of a worm or conveyer band having scraper blades 10, and the delivery slot may be of triangular shape, as shown in plan in Fig. 5, or of inclined parallel-sided form as shown in Fig. 6. One or more conveyers 5, Fig. 1, are adapted to supply material to a hopper which feeds the distributer. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also the boiler as of stationary type. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
