[Class 60.] Apparatus for sharpening safety razor blades consists of a frame having sides d rebated at c to fit on the arms of a strop carrier, and sides d<1>, one of which is removable for insertion of the blade a. The frame carries thin steel rods b, b<1>, b<2> over which the holes in the blade fit loosely, stop pins e, f also being provided to position the blade. The strop h is mounted on rollers &c. i carried by the carrier g, and in operation the frame is moved along the carrier, the blade tilting, as it contacts with the strop, so as to contact therewith as it moves therealong.
