350,598. Ornamenting lamp shades. MITCHELL, B. W., Althorne, Old Shoreham Road, and DENTON, C. W., 3, Kimberley Terrace, both in Southwick, Sussex. March 19, 1930, No. 8778. [Class 93.] Lamp shades resembling decorated opal glass shades are produced by applying a transfer to an intermediate tissue-paper or other support and thence to the inner surface of a shade composed of cellulose acetate or other plastic transparent material, and then applying over the transfer a coating of white enamel or other translucent material. The outer surface of the shade may be frosted.
