Abstract
350,016. Heating and mixing charge. GOUBARD, E. F., 18, Rue des Fontaines, Le Mans, Sarthe, France. March 7, 1930, No. 7493. Convention date, March 9, 1929. [Classes 7 (ii) and 7 (iii).] Two channels H, H lead combustible mixture from two independent carburetters, one using crude oil and the other petrol, to a mixing chamber J, oval in cross section and provided with a discharge conduit K. An exhaust-heated chamber G surrounds the channels H, H and the crude oil is heated before entering a carburetter by traversing a conduit P. A conduit S admits water vapour to the mixing chamber H to moisten the charge. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states that the chamber J may be formed integral with the engine cylinder block and that the chamber is heated by conduction from the cylinder block. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
