Abstract

349,180. Automatic exchange switches. COVENTRY AUTOMATIC TELEPHONES, Ltd. and PUCKETTE, C. C., of General Electric Co., Stoke, Coventry. March 12, 1930, No. 8027. [Class 40 (iv).] The magnet armature 5 of a ratchet-driven switch has a knife-edge fulcrum 6 which is mounted by means of slots 9 so as to permit horizontal and angular adjustment. The fulcrum is secured to a support member 12 which also carries the magnet coil 11 (partly surrounding it), the core 10, and the interrupter springs 14. The armature is controlled by a helical spring 15 engaging with a wire hook 16.
