Abstract

347,602. Load-handing appliances. LOGETTE, A. 1. and DAINTON, E. H., 186, Walmer Road, Notting Hill, London. Jan. 28, 1930, No. 2868. [Class 78 (iii).] Appliances for raising and supporting vehicles of the kind having a trackway or platform mounted on a hydraulic plunger are provided with slidable cross-beams fitted with jacks for engaging the axles &c. The trackway c is mounted on a frame a on a hydraulic plunger b. Cross-beams 1 are slidably mounted on the flanges 3a of the frame and carry prop-jacks 2 having crutches 9 adjustable in height, the jacks being slidable on the cross-beams and adjusted to the vehicle when it has been raised by lifting jacks, not shown. The cross-beams may be fitted with hook-like brackets slidably engaging flanges on the trackways. Screw jacks 2 may be used for raising the vehicle.
