Abstract

285,988. Clavey, G. A. Nov. 25, 1926. Pedestal, pillar, and like stands; brackets, adjusting and securing.-An extensible stand specially adapted for placing under the axles of vehicles when the latter have been raised by a jack, comprises a base 1, 2 and an arm 6 formed with teeth 7. The base is of channel-section and carries a pivoted loop 5 to engage the teeth 7. In a modified construction the teeth are formed on the base while the loop is pivoted to the movable arm.
