[Class 83 (iv).] In cold rolling a strip 7, between rolls 3, 4 provided with a table 2 and lateral guides 16, an abutment bar 8 for a brake block 14 is located between the guides 16 and the rolls. The brake block is provided with a handle 15. The bar 8 is secured to the inner face of the housings and is prevented from vertical movement by interengaging horizontal grooved strips.
