[Class 64 (i).] In a hot-water system, a fitting a is secured to the top of the hot water cylinder c to receive the flow and return pipes m, f from the boiler g, and connect the pipe f to a pipe e extending to the bottom of the cylinder, and a separate feed pipe s passes through the fitting from the cold water tank q. Air may be admitted through a cock to prevent water in the cylinder from being siphoned out in the event of the circuit being broken. An expansion pipe t is led from the pipe m, and a service pipe u leads to draw-off stations. A valve v may be fixed on the pipe m to prevent entrance of hot water to the cylinder.
