345,286. Liquid level indicators. HEIDE, H. C., 2, Broad Street Buildings, Liverpool Street, London.-(Moto Meter Gauge & Equipment Corporation; 15, Wilbur Avenue, Long Island City, New York, U.S.A.) Nov. 16, 1929, No. 35110. [Class 123 (i).] Liquid level indicating apparatus comprising crosscoil moving - iron instruments having one coil connected across the source of current and the other coil connected to the variable resistance operated by a float, has the resistance formed on a base member having a greater cross sectional area at one end than at the other end, and having intermediate stepwise tapered portions 14c, 14d, 14e. The resistance is housed in a casing 37 mounted on the tank T, the wiper 3 being earthed. Either end of the resister may correspond with the " full position. Specification 341,508 is referred to, and describes the indicating instrument.
