345,009. Venturi apparatus. SERCK RADIATORS, Ltd. and PATTMAN, C. H., Warwick Road, Greet, Birmingham. Jan. 21, 1930, No. 2063. [Class 69 (i).] In a fluid flow indicator of the venturi type, a pair of rigid cylinders a are connected by pipes b, d to the smaller and larger sections of a venturi tube c. Each cylinder a contains a corrugated flexible cylinder carrying a stem g with an arm h. The two arms h carry electric contacts i whereby the circuit of an alarm or other signal or indicator is completed at a predetermined minimum flow. In place of the flexible cylinders, diaphragms may be used.
