344,830. Letting-off warps in looms; take-up motions. HUTCHINSON, HOLLING- WORTH & CO., Ltd., WOOD, A. E., and LOWE, W. V., Loom Works, Dobcross, Yorkshire. Nov. 11, 1929, No. 4568/31. Divided on 344,879. [Class 142 (ii).] The take-up roll 40 of a carpet &c. loom is driven from the lay cam shaft 47 through gearing 41 .. 46, the thread of the worm 46 being arranged as shown at 46<1> so that for half of each revolution of the worm the takeup roll 40 is stationary. The three warp beams 37, 38, 39 are driven by ratchet and pawl mechanism 37<5>, 38<5>, 39<5> from an eccentric pin 134 on a shaft geared to the lay cam shaft 47.
