343,184. Elevated structures with apparatus for unloading ships. LE CLERCQ, J., 13A, Avenne Emile, Dermot, Brussels. Nov. 21, 1929, No. 35602. Convention date, Nov. 21, 1928. [Class 78 (iv).] Goods are raised by the ship's derrick 2 on to a platform 1 arranged on a structure 1a at a suitable height. An endless band conveyer 4 extends from the platform structure over railway or other tracks 5 to a storehouse 5a. The goods are attached to carriers on the conveyer and are transported to the storehouse by gravity. The endless band conveyer may be replaced by a gravity runway. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification having two conveyers of variable inclination and two platforms. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
