342,851. Draught excluders for doors. WEST, W., 27, Broadway, and GOODSON, F., 52, Alma Road, both in Sheerness, Kent. Dec. 30, 1929, No. 39722. [Class 20 (iii).] A draught excluder of the sliding-bar kind for the bottoms of doors, is actuated by cantilever springs a<1>, a<2>, attached to the strip, and U-shaped bends B<3>, B<2>, in the rod B which is moved by the jamb as the door is closed. The sliding bar is provided with a spongy rubber strip and is mounted in a recessed batten by screws and slotted brackets a<3>, a<4>. The strip and actuating rod are spring- returned by springs c, c<1> and b<2>.
