Oct. 28, 1929, No. 32681. [Class 37.] Electric heating units of the type comprising a sinuous or spiral metal coating on an insulating base are made by covering the base with a screen or mask of paper &c. so shaped as to expose the portions of the surface to be coated, spraying the whole with "nichrome" or other metal and removing the screen. Spiral coatings on porcelain rods or tubes and sinuous coatings on uralite panels are mentioned.
