[Class 47 (ii).] In a fire-extinguisher of the kind in which liquid is projected by compressed gas contained in a capsule, the nozzle 1, Fig. 1, is provided with an annular rib 2, Fig. 2, having angular notches therein producing a series of teeth against which the liquid is atomized.
