Abstract

341,526. Thermionic valves. LISSEN, Ltd. and RICHARDSON, R. P., Lissenium Works, Worple Road, Isleworth, Middlesex. Oct. 17, 1929, No. 31590. [Class 39 (i).] A valve has a screening grid in the form of two stamped louvres 8 united along three edges to enclose the cathode 1 and control grid 5, and provided with a wide skirt 11 covering and surrounding the pinch. The anode consists of two plates 18 welded to a U-shaped wire 17 mounted on, and spaced by glass beads 16 from, the skirt 11. A strip 14 of mica spaces the supports for the grids and filament at one end.
