Abstract

Fabrics fast to boiling are made with effect threads of a cellulose nitro-acetate of small nitrogen content. In a woollen fabric containing cellulose nitro-acetate effect threads which has been dyed with azogrenadine S, Glauber's salt, and sulphuric acid, the woollen fibres are dyed a clear red while the cellulose nitro-acetate threads are pure white and of a silky lustre. Specification 10706/12, [Class 2 (ii), Cellulose &c.], is referred to.
