Rigid-jaw wrenches; jaw faces and attachmettt.!.-The head of a wrench, having faces 14<a>, 14b to engase a nut, is bifurcated to receive two pivoted members 21, 22 which are rocked to the position shown in Fig. 4 as the wrench is engaged on the nut, but which are moved to the position shown in Fig. 1 to effect a tighter grip on the rut as the latter abuts against the ends 30, 31 of members 21, 22. The wrench is disengaged by moving it longitudinally to rook the pivoted mem. bers haek again.
