Abstract

339,141. Lorenz, C. Dec. 27, 1929. Bayonet - joint fastenings. - The members of a fastening particularly for fur capes are concealed and protected by being fixed in solid handle members 1, 2. The fastening described is of known type and comprises a cylinder 2<a> with outer closure plate 3 let into handle member 1, plate 3 having a slot 6 and internal depressions 12, 13 at right-angles thereto. The cylinder houses a plate 4 pressed by a spring 5. A cooperating member 8 with a transverse pin 9 is screwed into handle member 2. The pin is passed through slot 6, and rotated to engage in recesses 12, 13 in which it is retained by the action of the spring-pressed plate. Member 1 has a projecting rim 16 which covers the meeting faces of members 1, 2 into the outer ends of which attachment eyes 14 are screwed.
