Abstract

413,913. Spectacles. EGLINGTON, W. D., 100, Lower Addiscombe Road, Croydon. Oct. 19, 1933, No. 28972. [Class 97 (i).] One element of a spectacle hinge has extensions 4, through which fastening means 3 are passed, extending on each side of the chinier or chiniers 5 in the direction of the hinge pin. The chiniers 6a on the plate 7 attached to the spectacle side piece may overlie the projections 4 and hide them as shown in Fig. 3 when the hinge is assembled. The chinier end of plate 7 may be prolonged and shaped to form a stop to limit the motion of the side piece.
