Surface markings and signs; kerbs. - Road signs, kerbs, and the like a.re formed of blocks comprising a body part a of cement &c., one or more reinforcing metal bars b arranged longitudinally within the block, surface pieces c of rustless steel, bronze or other metal, and projections d extending into the block from the surface pieces c. Each surface piece c may be I-shaped in plan and have a pair of depending pegs d which may rest .upon, and be connected with, the reinforcing bar b. If desired, the various pegs d may be interconnected by wires or bars e. Ribs f and pegs g may be provided on the sides and bottom, respectively, of the blocks for retaining them in position. Specifications 26111/10, [Class 87 (i), Bricks &c.], and 235,973 are referred to.
