Abstract

337,116. Myers, T. Aug. 31, 1929. Door wedges.-A door wedge comprises a block a the opposite faces of which form two wedges. Two adjacent faces are made concave and provided either with non-slipping material or with pointed studs h which engage with the floor. Slipping is prevented further by a member f which is loosely held by a screw g. The thickness of the wedge may be increased either by members j as shown in Fig. 6, or by a pivoted centre piece j<1> which is operated by a thumbscrew r as shown in Fig. 8. The member j in Fig. 6 may be either slotted and held by a thumbscrew k as shown or may be pivoted at a fixed point near one end.
