Abstract
335,225. L,oewe Radio Ges. Jan. 23, 1929, [Convention date]. Converting pulsating currents in steady con. tinuous currents.-Apparatus for supplying high tension from the mains to a thermionic amplifier using anode resistances of one megohm or more comprises a smoothing circuit for connecting to the resistance consisting of two parallel capacities 3, 4 and a smoothing resistance W greater than 100,000 ohms. The voltage-amplifying stages are connected to a common terminal D, and the anode voltage of the output valve is supplied directly from the normal smoothing chokes T1, T2. Specifications 274,901, [Class 40 (v), Wireless signalling &c.], and 330,603, [Class 38 (i), Electric couplings &c.], are referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 273,593; 275,624, and 290,169, [both in Class 40 (v), Wireless signalling &c.].
