Lids; spouts; strainers.-A saucepan or like vessel is provided with a spout 3, Fig. 1, backed by a strainer 4 and adapted to be covered by a lip 7, Fig. 4, projecting from the edge of the lid 5. The rim 6 of the lid has a recess 8 taking over an abutment 9 provided at one side of the spout, the arrangement being that with the abutment engaging one end of the recess the spout is covered.
