Abstract

334,635. Watson, W. S. June 17, 1929. Driving - arrangements for screw propellers and paddle wheels; propelling by water jets; steering-gear. -A boat is propelled by detachably securing therein a land motor vehicle, and connecting same to the means of propulsion. The hull is arranged with a tunnel 1, in the bow which divides into two branches 2, in which are located paddle wheels 6 connected by the shaft 5. A motor cycle is detachably secured in the boat, the front wheel being attached to a rotatable wheel-socket 10 to which is attached an arm 12 connected by ropes 13 to the rudder 14. The, sprocket on the shaft 5 is connected to the engine sprocket.
