Abstract

332,715. Jarvis, F. July 1, 1929. Watch wristlets.-In a wrist band for watches, of the type comprising a pair of straps capable of being secured to one another and provided at their free ends with bent-over portions or loops containing U-shaped pieces of metal and capable of being passed through the loops of a watch, the metal strip is constructed with a portion of each end having means by or through which it can be affixed to the strap and at one end with means for engaging the extreme end of the strap. One end of the metal piece C is inserted between the two layers A, B forming the strap and is secured to the layer A by tongues D, the other portion of the metal piece being positioned next to an extension of the layer B and secured thereto by tongues E engaging same and by the turned over nose-piece C<2> engaging the end of the layer; the metal piece C and the extension of the layer B are bent over to form a loop. Slots or holes by which the metal piece C can be sewn to the strap may be provided instead of the tongues D, E.
