Crushers with gyratory heads. - A seal for preventing dust &c. entering the bearing of a gyratory crusher comprises a ring 24 having sealing engagement with a surface 32 on the gyratory head 15 and with a stationary part 26 secured to the casing 11, the ring sliding on the part 26 when the head 15 is adjusted vertically. The ring 24 is retained in the head 15 by a flange 30 and the surfaces of contact of the ring with the head may be curved. The part 26 forms a housing 34 for the reception of oil forced up from a reservoir 35 through the interior of the eccentric bush 17 around the shaft sleeve 19. The oil then passes through grooves in the hub lining 18 and through passages 36, 37, 20<b> to a countershaft bearing 20 back to the reservoir 35.
