Abstract

330,834. Turner, J. r. Sept. 7, 1929. Continuous - discharge apparatus with moving containers. - A mixing-machine, for foundry sand, has a rotary mixing-table 7, driven by a depending shaft 10 from an overhead electric motor 2, and supported by a protected bearing below. The table is enclosed by a two part hood 15 and funnel 20, the parts being pivoted at 18 on opposite sides of the frame to swing outwards on release of catches 22. The table carries pins 14 and has a skirt 24 that surrounds the bearing 8 mounted in a recessed block 26.
