330,785. Grant &. Co., Ltd., H., and O'Brien, R. M. June 26, 1929. Lever lids. - A closure for bottles, cams, &c. comprises a neck portion 2 with a lip 3 of inverted-U cross-section, having an unobstructed mouth, and a lid 5 with a flange 7 of the same crosssection fitting thereon by a double friction grip. the edges of the respective limbs terminating in beads 4, 8 providing an intermediate space for the insertion of an opening lever. The lid may be sealed in position by a sealing ring, capsules. clips, or spring catches.
