327,848. Riley's Chemicals &. Colours, Ltd., and Riley, C. H. March 28, 1929. Pigments.-In the manufacture of satin-white by mixing together lime and aluminium sulphate, sodium sulphate is mixed with either the lime or aluminium sulphate prior to their being mixed together, or is added as they are being mixed together. The sodium sulphate may be in the anhydrous or crystalline form or in aqueous solution. The admixture of aluminium sulphate with sodium sulphate as a preliminary to the preparation of satin-white is claimed.
