Abstract

326,994. Granstedt, J. A., and Fogelquist, G. P. O. March 14, 1929. Stands or supports for turning in confined spaces. A transverse wheel 1 mounted in a yoke 2 carried by a shaft 4 is adapted, to be lowered into contact with the ground. The car is then driven backwards a short distance, whereby the wheel 1 is brought into contact with a pulley 6 on the engine shaft or the transmission shaft and one end of the car raised. Further rotation of the engine then causes sideways movement of the car on the wheel 1.
