Combing-machines; sliver conductors. - In a cotton combing-machine the selvedge guide adjacent to the detaching-rollers 5, 6 comprises separate members 3, 4, independently adjustable on pins 12 slidably secured in brackets 10 secured to the back-tin 9. The members present concave faces to the edges of the sliver x and are bent forward to allow the roller 5 to roll over the lower roller 6.
