Junction boxes.-The lid and body parts of a moulded junction box &c., especially those produced by moulding china clay or synthetic resins of the phenolic condensation type, embody integral lid-anchoring means consisting of tongues b<2> on the one part which engage in mortice-like recesses a<2> in the other part, the members being formed substantially in. the planes of the mouths and inter-engaging by a relative sliding movement. The box parts are preferably provided with integral headings c, d<1> connectable by a sliding sleeve e to fasten the box in the closed position. Alternatively the beadings may be arranged in superimposed relationship and connected by a push-on coupling. A sealing means may be provided to oppose illicit opening.
