[Class 65 (ii)] A lid D of a box U, made of mouldable material such as synthetic resin, has a part 12 carrying two pivots 13, 14 which enter recesses 18 in bosses 16, 17 at the back of the box. The part 12 is held in position by a resilient piece 21 which is made thicker than the adjacent part of the wall 15 so that when the lid is being attached the resilient piece is caused first to yield inwards, Fig. 6, then to spring out to its unstrained position so that a curved shoulder 22 on it latches beneath the part 12. The invention is not limited to a hinge which is integral with a box.
