Materials for wearing-apparel.- A flexible buoyant fabric for lifesaving garments, body attachments and rafts' is formed of layers of cork cemented together by rubber solution or other flexible adhesive, enclosed between two layers of waterproof canvas or similar fabric. A garment of this material may have air pockets between the cork sheets or secured inside the garment by rubber solution. Fig. 4 shows a sleeveless garment made of this material.
