Wood-block, metal, and parquetry flooring. - Parquetry panels formed of upper sections 5 overhanging lower sections 2 on certain edges, are provided with interlocking means, such as rabbets 3, tongues and grooves, or keys on the lower sections, and tongues or keys 8 and grooves on the upper sections. The sections consist of one or more pieces of wood, metal; plywood, or rubber composition, and the upper sections are secured to the lower sections before or after laying the latter. The border is started with strips 10.
