Sound magnifying and directing appliances.-A horn for sound-reproducing instruments comprises a flared shell h closed at one end and divided into two tapering circuitous conduits by a central wall l and two symmetrical outer walls i which are spaced from the closed end of the shell and converge so as to meet at the open end. The central wall l is connected to the rear end of the shell and projects forwards towards an inlet passage formed by a reflector d and the two side walls. A sound conduit b on the top of the shell connects the inlet to the usual tone arm.
