Abstract
323,269. Hudson, W. S., and Hudson, E. Sept. 29, 1928. Axles. - The inner ends of a divided axle 2 are supported in bushes 5 in a member 8 carried centrally in a sLeeve 3, axial movement of the axle parts being prevented by locking washers 7. The members 5, 8 are locked in position by screws 9 which engage annular grooves in the bushes 5. The outer ends of the axle are carried by bearings, such as balls or rollers.
