323,264. Dufort, C. J. Nesbitt-, and O. & S. Oilless Bearing Co., Ltd. Sept. 28, 1928. Magnetic instruments; diaphragms.-The diaphragm a of a moving coil loud-speaker is formed of a number of truncated cones a', a<2>, a<3>, the coil e being connected to the innermost cone a<1> as shown. The joints between the cones and the outer edge of the diaphragm are preferably strengthened by paper &c. rings f. The periphery of the diaphragm is connected by thin leather b to a baffle g<1> and a centring device of flexible material g is adjustably secured to the magnet core h by a pin i and nuts j. Additional centring means in the form of strings c secured to the coil cylinder d may also be provided.
