Steam separators.- The size of the constriction in a convergent divergent steam-separating passage is automatically adjusted according to the steam consumption. by forming the passage within the casing of a valve 5 loaded by a spring, the gap 10 between the valve and its seating forming the constriction. The water collecting in the divergent passage beyond the gap 10 is led off through an opening 12. The external lever to which the loading spring is connected carries a pointer indicating the position of the valve. A pin inserted in the valve casing and engaging the upper edge of the external lever limits the opening of the valve.
