Plug cocks.-A gas cock comprises a body a having a conical valve plug b recessed at its larger end to house a spring e and covered by a screwed cap a<2> fitting into an enlarged recess in the body. The operating lever c is provided with a. stop pin c<1>, and the body with a projection a'. In an alternative form the lever c may be replaced by a thumb piece and the cap a<2> may be riveted instead of screwed into position.
