Adhesives.-A marine glue substitute is made by heating a mixture of about 20 per cent of bitumen and 75 per cent of gas oil to a temperature of 150‹ C. and adding and thoroughly incorporating 5 per cent of a liquid glue made by melting glue in half its weight of gas oil.
