Mudguards.-In mudguards for perambulators, toy motor-cars, &c. of the type in which the blade a is rigidly connected by stays c to a centre piece d detachably connected to the axle e or a frame member of the vehicle, a bridge piece g is pivoted at f to the centre piece d and is provided with a hole at its free end to engage a bolt h, which is carried by the centre piece d and by which the parts. are detachably clamped around the axle &c. e. The centre piece d comprises two complementary dished side plates d<2>, Fig. 2, each provided with a depending ear d<4> pierced to receive the pivot pin f for the bridge piece g, which is of U-shaped cross-section. The bolt h is fitted with a wing-nut h<2>, and is capable of partial rotation about a. rivet i. The ends of the stays c are connected to the centre piece d by means of rivets i<2> and packing-washers i<3>. Specification 167,977 is referred to.
