Metal pipes. - A. centrifugally cast pipe comprises a body 11 of blast furnace iron containing impurities or coarse material producing irregularly distributed in.- terstices 10 in the inner surfaces and a centrifugally applied lining 12 of cement &c. interlocked with said interstices and having a smooth inner surface. The cement &c. may be introduced into the rotating pipe from a dumper trough or by spraying.
