Abstract

319,963. Lammeren, W. P. van. Oct. 26, 1928. Propelling. - A rotary propeller for aircraft comprises symmetrical streamline blades 1 feathered by rods 6a having rollers 6 running in a cam groove 5 in a block which can be angularly adjusted by known means to vary the direction of thrust. The cam groove comprises two arcuate sections 5a, 5<c> of maximum and minimum radius connected by two symmetrical spiral portions 5<b>, 5d.
